quick question that i've been wondering on this - what's the advantage of using a ready made map for ableton as supposed to creating your own?

hmmm, i am now being sold by the LVs. wilxon, what you said about them having 17 times more controllability than it seems on the surface sounds interesting. i need to try one out, which is well annoying cos i don't know where to try it. also, it sounds like they're not usb from what was written belo...

by the way patch, just interested - what MIDI controller do you use?

i've found this thread pretty intriguing - can't say i understood what was going on a whole lot of the time (!), but i'm also looking to invest in similar technology. Patch - i'd love to hear the kind of stuff you're looking to do with the two bits alongside each other. i've got the same predicament...

Now I can open the browser and select a track and inject that into a clip slot in session view all without the mouse, and select and fire any clip without the mouse I'm really happy. The LV2 (the LV1's replacement) would probably be even better in a lot of respects. Man, how the hell have you manag...
