honest, cheap, comfy, bulletproof
I got one of these.

I also have a pair of Sennheiser HD-25's, but after getting MDR-7506's, I haven't used those even once.

Sennheisers boost bass, but Sony's have completely flat response curve. btw: Sonys are cheaper.

Highly recommended.

Re: Best way to program a dj transform switch

Is there a way to program a transform button. Volume on and off to get the DJ transform fader fx.
I have no clue of that DJ term what you are using, but try adding a Utililty plugin to the last effect on your effect chain, turn the knob to the minimum and press the "power off switch".

Then when ...

Re: Recording DJ Sets, etc.

So, when I was on Windows, I used Voxengo Recorder (in the main channel) to record my DJ sets (as opposed to rendering them).

Is there something similar for OS X?
There's this one very versatile program that can od pretty much anything.

It's called Ableton Live, you might have heard of it :lol ...

That's is an excellent idea.

Though the photoshoppings were made in session view, I sure do hope this would be a feature on arrange view also.

I'd like to get collapsable folders in to it. I'd like to create a folder for my drums, in my tunes drums are easily 10 tracks alone. Those start to be ...

Got my 2,0Ghz Core2Duo MacBook with 2G RAM on monday.
I Bought upgrade to Live 6 on tuesday, and installed the rest of my VST/AU's.
My M-Audio Axiom 49 should arrive today (wednesday).

Now my Live starts in 5 seconds, and CPU in Live 5 performance test is around or below 20%.

Update:

Problem solved. I had the serial of my Live 5 on different user account.

I got the 99€ upgrade bought, and Live 6.0.1 is good to go.

Thanks for support :)

Okay, I checked my User Account on ableton.com and there's my Live 5's serial listed in "my Products".

Can I now safely purchase the Live 6 downloadable upgrade?

I'm aware that Live 5.2 is Universal Binary, though I wasn't aware that I have to pay to get Live 5.2 Universal Binary version. That sucks, because I bouhgt Live 5 when 5.2. was already released.

My plugins (Stylus rmx & FM8) are Univeral Binaries, so those shouldn't be a issue.

But Do I have to ...

Hi Guys,

My brand new Core2Duo MacBook arrived yesterday. I transferred all my excisting data from my old trustworthy G4 iBook via firewire cable.

Everything transferred as it should, my Safari bookmarks were as they should, files where they were earlier and so on. But Live refused to work.

Now I ...
