Oh my...Tarekith wrote:I believe Sysex support is in M4L, not Live natively.
I had really hoped they reworked internal MIDI and MIDI driver integration, to get us full SysEx support and multiclient midi support...

Ableton Live 10 SysEx integration
I heard Ableton Live 10 introduces SysEx support.
Unfortunately i did not got a invite to the beta test yet.
Can anyone with beta access explain how it's integrated?
Maybe some nifty screenshots or a short youtube vid to see more details.
Are there some new max objects for SysEx too?

Re: Native 32-bit VST support (when Live goes 64-bit only)
Yes please, a integrated 32bit to 64bit bridge is really needed - at least for Live 10, when there is no 32bit Version anymore.
I have some nice 32bit only plugins, that i really don't wanna miss.

Re: VST3 Support!
FYI, i did read the whole 10 sites and the clue seems to be, that it doesn't happen because it's more "difficult" than implementing VST2.4. I think i fully understand... But as a customer, i simply expect from 600€ professional software, that their devs are able to do even the more difficu...

Re: VST3 Support!
+1 for VST3 support! Unbelievable that this is ignored for such a long time... There are no excuses not to integrate VST3 into live! Enough with the hyperbole. It's not unbelievable nor are there no excuses. Several have been mentioned in this very discussion. No-one is saying VST3 support wouldn't...

Re: Support for Polyphonic Aftertouch
I think the problem is their crap midi implementation. It's not Poly Aftertouch at all that will be excluded by their nasty midi filtering, there are so much more basic MIDI functionality abandoned by it. For instance System Exclusive Messages (SysEx). There are a lot of Live useres who own and use ...

Re: My reason of not buying the Push Controller
It's always best to know what you're talking about. Ok, my post was not really clear written and my english skills are a little rusted. But i will try to explain it a little better. Ableton push is an extremely useful controller. Also it covers everything that you claim it does not. I never said it...

My reason of not buying the Push Controller
Hi folks, To be true, i don't like the way you go with Ableton Live and the "Push Contoller". While i think the "Push" is a nice piece of hardware, i can clearly see, this hardware is limited in most circumstances to the numebr 8. 8 tracks, 8 macros, etc... Seems that there are a...

I'm also using some 32bit plugins with no versions for 64bit available.
It's the only reason for me to use ableton live 32bit.
I'd really like to switch to 64bit ableton, because i run fairly often into memory limitation issues, because i have to use ableton live 32bit.
