What i would like to be able to do is for instance take a song by another artist and chop out all the instruments exept for the drums. I know how to insert a song into the live program and alter it, But how do you take layers off of it. Dont worry I want to do this for private study purposes only.

I've been using live 3 to record songs I have written on guitar. My question is; is there a website where I can post my songs for free. I like the guitar wars website but I dont have a credit card. Please help.

I dont know any thing about reason.But you can insert some of the 100 or so drumtracks that comes with live. Just find it in your chooser menu to the left of your screen. I cant remember exectly which folder there in. Just browse around the live folder till you find the samples, then its as easy as ...

I've noticed that you con only apply effects to an entire track and not the single clip. What I would like to be able to do is change the effect on a track several times throughout the body of the song. There has to be a way to do it. they've thought of every thing else.

Right now I have the demo version of live 3.0 and am about to buy it I just want to know something first. I have an imac G3 and an M-audio adiophile 2496 device hooked up to it. I just want to record multiple tracks with my guitar. When I listen to live's demo song i can hear it through my headphone...
