Sounds like a lot of you would be interested in a book called 'Imagine - How Creativity Works' by Jonah Lehrer, very good book, touches on a lot of the stuff that's been mentioned here. Also for the guy that mentioned the blues check out 'Music of the Common Tongue - Survival and Celebration in Afro ...
