Re: Ableton and internal artifacting?
Wow, I was able to find the problem and it was something that was never even brought up. I tried exporting the song with different tracks knocked out and was able to isolate the problem being a high bass line I had against a chime/bell pad that had a telephone like oscillation that would reach down ...

Re: Ableton and internal artifacting?
psyfi, what you're telling me sounds identical - for me also its in two fixed spots and seems resilient to anything I try to fix it.

Ableton and internal artifacting?
While I love Ableton's features and the sheer number of plugins that I can get with a DAW that supports VST, I've had a problem that I've been grappling with since day one regarding artifacts.

Re: What makes EQ plugins better than lives EQ8?
Only complaint I've heard about the EQ8 that I heard in a Kryptic Mindz tutorial was that it tends to be very mild when you try to notch or boost. There are a lot of good parametric EQ's out there as well as many that are free, just check them against your ear to see if you like what they're doing ...

Re: Ableton crashing on scanning of vst, need help plz
I don't know what you're OS is, I have Windows 7 x64, trying to find the right place for my plugins was a bit tricky. It seems like different manufacturers - whether free or pay - often times have odd things that they need such as the folder containing the plug-in to have a specific name that won't ...

Re: Live 8, audio outputs 1/2 only
Try using that anyway. In the context of the plug in, 1/2 may be the channel itself, and 3/4 would mean additional input. Ableton Live however, may see the '3/4' that the plug in is listening for as 1/2. Does the sidechain have a monitor button??

Re: Live 8, audio outputs 1/2 only
Thanks. I just tried it, unfortunately its still only offering 1/2 no matter which sub-menu I pull the configure option from.

Live 8, audio outputs 1/2 only
This might be a rather 'green' question. I just found out that a rather pricey plug-in I bought will only side-chain via outputs 3 and 4 on an audio channel, problem is nothing else shows up aside from lines 1 and 2 in my output config dialog.
