mono or stereo for live club show?

do you always send mono to the mixer for a live show or stereo or depending?

my concern with stereo is mainly people's listening position ...but am still curious if some people do indeed send out L/R.

in my situation is it always 1 beat late...which is very strange to me ...suggesting not latency ...but some setting. also, i am using rme fireface 400 - not a cheap soundcard - latency should not be a problem. and ..the weirdest part - it just started happening ...after much perfectly normal use......

I have the same problem. Since I am not doing any live looping, I hit record, wait a second and then play whatever I'm recording, and then just fix the timing by moving the first marker to the beginning of the recording. well it shouldn't be doing this should it? and i have had everything perfectly...

strange behavior-recording clips is getting delayed-plshelp

up until this morning everything on my system was working perfectly. today for some reason - recording clips, the clip starts recording seemingly 1 beat late. so the track is playing, i click a clip to record in and it waits until the 2nd beat before launching into clip/record. it does this no matte...

has anyone successfully setup a midi controller to scroll the scenes up and down in the session view? i am trying to set up a fcb1010 foot expression pedal - to do this. but one step at a time - i want to make sure i can even get a knob to work which i haven't yet. tried to assign one of the trigger...

thanks ..i can certainly use it that way ...but was hoping that automapping would have some advantages ...and i just thought to check out it out first. one question for you though - are you able to "bank" through your tracks so that the faders can control more than just the first 8 tracks ...

remote zero - not able to control live

sorry if this should be simple ... i just went through install of remote zero / live 6. setup in prefs - remote zero port 1 for remote control. the remote zero display shows the tracks/levels etc of live - but does not seem to do anything to control it ...eg., fader moves have no effect on live... s...

Re: need midi plugin - for altered tuning (microtonal)

I don't see how that's possible. Midi doesn't have a concept of tuning. It's a digital triggering system. If you want a different tuning system, it's got to be done with the samples triggered/synthesized, not the triggering mechanism. in cubase there's a midi plugin that allows you to setup non wes...

need midi plugin - for altered tuning (microtonal)

in cubase there's a midi plugin that allows you to setup non western tuning scales. don't see anything like that built into live...does this exist? is there a way to use 3rd party midi plugins in live that might do this?
