Re: Ableton performance on Mac?

Mac’s Core Audio/MIDI and built-in MIDI networking and IAC driver makes things much simpler than when dealing with a PC DAW. The OS is also lighter on resources than Windows and things like dpc-induced latency are extremely unusual. Nor does cpu core-parking and speed-stepping require adjusting. I ...

Re: How well does Live interact with a Windows touch screen?

Thanks for the reply. Live is the only program I would use with multi touch and it sounds like its not much fun to use in its current state.

Re: Help with Sends in Live Lite 10

Are you talking about the send dials on the send tracks? If so those are used to feed sends to other sends so you can have a "matrix" of sends. Re: Reaper/Live users have an MPE workaround!

Nice tip. Out of curriosity, how long have you been using Reaper? I decided to give it a tenth chance about a year ago and I finally clicked with it. It took a while to set it up how I like it, but after setting it up I have been using it almost as much as Live.

Re: Nektar and Ableton

The Nektar Pacer seems to support Live according to their website. Nektar dont have a logo for Live along with the other daw logos showing support. This makes me think that they do have an affiliation with Bitwig like the second poster says. https://nektartech.com/pacer-midi-daw-footswitch-controlle...

Re: Tempo Mapping Audio (Song) File

This is how it is done in live. Maybe put in a feature request to have automatic tempo mapping like Logic and Cubase.
I really hope automatic tempo mapping shows up in this version of live I think it is long over due.

Re: Make one version of Live.

Simple, just buy Suite. Oops, it's pretty expensive... the cheaper versions are for people who either can't afford more expensive ones or literally don't need everything. . Do both sets of people really fall into the same category of only needing the cheaper version? One person uses a less expensiv...
