I would like to see a preset manager that had maybe 100- 1000 banks and 4 or 5 presets per bank that you could map to a foot controller.
I imagine it working like the boss gt series multi fx pedals.

Re: What are the biggest struggles for you in terms of achieving the sound you want?
After years of using Ableton Live I find it difficult to make anything by myself anymore. Im missing human collaboration. It may be my age but I dont have the stamina to produce a full album with the software that it is available today...Its just too time consuming and absolutely boring. Plus I have...

Re: With Products like MPC ONE coming out does using a computer daw seem old fashion?
Not just a Daw but all music software. Making music with computers is not a new thing. Computers have been powerful enough to make music since Ableton Live came out. Does it seem old fashion to make music with a midi controller and mouse now? Other way around. Computers will continue to innovate. L...

Re: With Products like MPC ONE coming out does using a computer daw seem old fashion?
Looking at it’s specs there’s not that many inputs and outputs, only 2GB memory, it’s controlled by computer software, small screen... So no, this isn’t a computer replacement. No doubt it will be popular with MPC users but I can’t see it replacing DAWs any time soon. As far as I’m concerned the “o...

Re: Anyone still on XP (x86) or 7(x64) can help me out please?
One reason to upgrade your computer would be 4k monitor support. Monitors back from the xp days make everything look blurry. I guess you dont know what you are missing until you try whats behind the other door. How are you from the era of atari st and samplers being 39? Im 40 and im not even from th...

Re: Ableton performance on Mac?
Mac’s Core Audio/MIDI and built-in MIDI networking and IAC driver makes things much simpler than when dealing with a PC DAW. The OS is also lighter on resources than Windows and things like dpc-induced latency are extremely unusual. Nor does cpu core-parking and speed-stepping require adjusting. I ...

Thanks for the reply. Live is the only program I would use with multi touch and it sounds like its not much fun to use in its current state.
