Re: Sound Engine in LIVE 8.

Thanks for your help guys  - I've got a few warping tutorials here - I think it's just my head needs to get around the way this version works. I find the new 8 method a bit strange (at the moment - give me a few days and I'll be used to it). One thing I can't seem to figure out though. When you...

Sound Engine in LIVE 8.

Hi Folks, I would like to ask a simple question. I did a quick search through the forums first but was unable to find the answer. Today in LIVE 8, I started to prepare a DJ set. This is the first time I've used LIVE 8 for this, prior to this, I was using LIVE 7/6/5 for a few years. I'm having real c...

Re: How do I monitor using my audio 8 with Ableton?

How do you get the audio router to 7/8 on que?

I have output 1/2 stereo and 7/8 stereo enabled.

I have 1/2 as Master Out and 7/8 as Cue Out.

Yet no sound? What am I missing here?

Re: Sidechain Bussing

See the little triangle on the left hand side of the compressor? Press it and it opens up. Failing that, read the manual, it states it in there as well.

Re: Using the Ableton forum to restore consumer confidence

Good post. I have to admit, I find the media try to make the most of times like this. For me personally (I live in the UK) my wages and my job are safe, food/rent has not gone up or down and neither have my bills. With today's interest rate cut, why would I want to keep any money in the bank? Sure, ...

Re: The aluminium 13-inch MacBook

I just picked up the new Mac Book, I went for a 2.4 and then got an extra 2 gig of RAM from Crucial (cost me like £54) - the machine performs superbly. I use it for Traktor and Ableton. I had Ableton install on my old 3.1 Mac Book Pro and it runs MUCH quicker on the mew Mac Book. It has a really sma...

Noise of DEATH!

Hello people, When previewing some audio samples I had lying around, a certain sample (when previewed in LIVE) totally destroys my ears and produces this sound which I can only describe as a "noise of death" - I can load the same sample in Logic or Quicktime and it loads no problem. It's a kick drum...

Got a new Mac Book a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely no problems with it. It runs really in fact, even against my Mac Pro (which is no easy feat). 8O
