Re: Year End FACEPUNCHES

While I don't exactly recall punching anyone in the face, my punching hand is bruised, swollen and hurts like a mother... Still.
You had it coming. Even if you were a wall. Fuck you, wall.

Re: Gun control? We need medication control!!!!!

I for one am glad I'm allowed to own unlimited number of short barrel firearms, one shotgun,
unlimited ammo, no caliber/mag restrictions, concealed carry for self defense purposes. In freakin' EU.
Come and get it.

Well, without cover art song/list view is pretty fucking useless now.
Anyways, I'm going through a phase. Fuck you iTunes. I guess.

Re: Bluetooth receivers - good enough on stage?

Forget about it. Latency is terrible. When watching a movie audio is out of sync by 200ms or so.
Audio quality is less than stellar to. And it occasionally looses connection for no reason, my headset at least.

Re: Suggest a TINY sound interface

Behringer UCA202/UCA222 is pretty decent considering the price. On the DAC side, at least.
But it may not work well with low impedance headphones.
VERY extensive(only DAC, sadly) review here: http://nwavguy.blogspot.com/2011/02/beh ... eview.html

Re: DSP-Quatro, my new audio/sample editor

Tried it a couple of times. Found myself wanting to bash my head against the desk every time.
AFE WaveEditor works so much better for me.

Re: MOTU Track 16- isnt it the best design to date?

Kinda looks like a bastard child of the duet and steinberg cmc or whatever.
Not as nice looking as propellerhead balance though.

Re: Frozen track clicks.

Hey, thank you for response.
But no samples are involved. Two operators in a drumrack with grain delay and filter delay afterwards.

Frozen track clicks.

This might be a stupid question, but how does one avoid clicks at the end of a frozen midi track loop
with a long delay at the end, without moving delay to return track?

Well, at some point you may need a bit of the low end.
Big monitors are expensive. A semi-decent sealed box sub is less so.
And you will have the advantage of placing it anywhere in your room,
depending on the acoustics.

Re: Studio Speakers

Yeah, 300€ for a pair won't get you much, unless you go for used ones.
But as far as budget monitors go, check out adam a3x.
They are only 4" and don't go very low, but 5" won't either.
But those Heil tweeters... Nothing touches them at that price range, imo.

I meant a single external monitor/keyboard/mouse in case you use laptops/imacs and don't already have one.
