I like it, has a nice width and use of 'alternative' sounds for the drumline :)

The other tracks are cool too, keep up the good work!

Latest track is now finished and loaded up to my MySpace page! It goes by the name of Tokyo Dreams and is another of the downtempo trance tracks with reasonable use of sidechain compression on the bass and pad. I've done my usual method of building chords and harmonies with various instruments to gi...

Thanks for the feedback, and glad they're going down well :D Have to agree that the MySpace mp3 quality is naff. I've got them as 192kbps mp3s and they sound perfectly fine on my iTunes but on MySpace they loose a hell of a lot of the shine and depth that should be there :( I've got an account with ...

My harddrive recently filled to brimming so I had to move some of my samples onto my USB2 Western Digital MyBook. Great storage solution, but naff for trying to do any serious work. I should really get a bigger HD but until then I'll find myself copying the files I use from that drive back onto my H...

Have redone Fin a little, some of the mixing and overall mastering needed attention, particularly the filtered intro and outro sequences which needed a fair bit of compression to keep the volume reasonable while the frequencies opened out. Also added mild EQ sweeps throughout the main verse sequence...

Hi MrTheBigMan. Doesn't sound too bad, and nice use of the CM vocal, I use a few bits of theirs too :D Sounds a little dry in places and could use a few more percusive elements within the stereo field to give it some air, aswell as some white noise based whooshes and swells to keep it moving along :...

Quite like it. Minimal as Tarekith says, but would be ideal for dozing off to at the end of a long day :)

Nice mellow feel to it. You're right about the drums though, they sound a bit like they're from another track. Upping the volume would be a start, and get some EQ on it to bring out the top end a bit. There's always compression to bring them out a bit too. Are the drums a loop or midi? Could add som...

Not sure if a key can be used in that way as unlike a button, slider or joystick it tends to just be either on or off. That said, if you have a keyboard with velocity and aftertouch it should be able to interprate how you press the key :?
