Re: Krafty Kuts thinks "The Glue" plug-in beats the Glue in Live
Did you attempt to null at 44.1kHz? At 48 Khz or less it just doesn’t apply. Visually explained: http://www.ryanschwabe.com/blog/96k Glue and The Glue are 1:1 below 192 Khz. Then again, I strongly agree with login’s position; sorting out technical biases is part of the process of being a creative p...

Re: Krafty Kuts thinks "The Glue" plug-in beats the Glue in Live
Tests revised: at 96 Khz The Glue with Oversampling off + Up/Dn Intermediate Phase is equivalent to Glue with Oversampling off and The Glue with X2 Oversampling + Up/Dn Linear Phase is equivalent to Glue with Oversampling on. Glue does not null against The Glue with X4+ Oversampling. Glue behaves di...

Re: Krafty Kuts thinks "The Glue" plug-in beats the Glue in Live
When I deliver guitar takes to my coworkers the only thing that they ask about is the tonal center. That’s how good musicians those guys are. They choose the digital chains most of the time without knowing it but that does not mean that I don’t care about the technical process. It is because I care ...

Re: Can I get a call and response - Csound or SuperCollider?
Hey there,
Have you tried this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_4OC4C7Ptk
I run SuperCollider 3.8 on my Arch Linux devel laptop which links to my Live setup. I can begin an idea in scsynth inside Vim and progress it to Live and go back and forth transparently. Totally recommended.

Re: Ableton Live 10 Release Date
Personally, I'm quite happy with them adding new features and updates to Live 9 for free. :) A lot of other daws require far more regular payments to keep up to date. In my opinion Live 9 has progressed quite nicely since it was released without Ableton asking us for any more cash (except for Push ...

Re: Suite or Standard + 3rd Party
The more I learn and the more I discover, the more I feel at home with the instruments and processors included with Live Suite. The only thing I was lacking in software terms (a wavetable semi-modular) was recently covered by Bengal from Max for Cats. If you are just starting, exposing yourself to s...

Re: Ableton is giving me a funky authorization
theres no way to just have amp disable so i can continue working on the session? A workflow-based solution (recommended): You can ask the person to freeze/flatten the track(s) using Amp and send the set/wave back again. That person can create a rack/track and import it on her/his end when needed to...

Re: Why does Ableton keep adding new features that no one wants?
No offence but that's lame excuse for using their developing resource into features few people want. wow No, it is not. The amount of work done by Ableton in order to support ours as musicians is inestimable and when compared to most developers, remarkable. I find very difficult to understand how s...

Re: WARNING - El Capitan 10.11.6 Beta (15G26a) crashing
Hi, Adding this to your Options.txt would bypass plug-in scans at startup and consequently avoid this kind of crashes: -NoVstStartupScan Then you can trigger the scan manually inside Live when needed. In addition, you can press and hold Alt in Rescan to run a global scan instead of an update scan. Y...

Re: Is anyone having issues with Soundtoys in Live 9.6?
Hi,
Soundtoys V5.0.1.10839 release is working as intended with Live 9 64 Bit under Windows 10. Windows 8 compatibility mode is not needed anymore and could be the cause of your unintended audio events.
I'd be glad to help you reproduce your issue here, in any case.

Re: Amp simulator recommendations
You could still get decent results with Amp if no other options is available. As with hardware, routing amp heads can help you embody sound quite nicely. Something like this: http://i.imgur.com/YjcfQPF.png Then you could add a Dynamic tube in the middle of the amps and some Saturator at the end...gi...

Anyone have tried Vintage Amp Room or [urlhttp://www.softube.com/index.php?id=mar]Metal Amp Room[/url] by Softube? Owner of Vintage Amp Room and Bass Amp Room here. And jsyk, you won't be able to obtain the same quality over the signal with Ableton Amp. I was used to get out a complete song from Vi...

Well it can certainly be a bummer but you should write to support instead. I mean, I get that you're frustrated, but still. The support people are helpful enough to assest this kind of situation and as you're not providing much info I don't see how can we help.
