Constantly crashing over here - gave up after 10 crashes in the span of 10 minutes. Sticking to 8.2.6 for the time being.

It doesn't ma...

I still can't believe live doesn't ship with some basic non-rompler synths. Fucking bullshit. Add-ons? THESE THINGS SHOULD BE SHIPPED WITH THE PRODUCT. And their pricepoints are fucking ludicrous. I guess now that they finally have time signature support they can tack on $500 for the feature? WTF?

I don't trust the CPU meter in Live 6.0. I will get CPU spikes of 200% when I'm performing live without any dropouts. WTF that even means is beyond me.

Yes, on an intel macbook.

I'm guessing Legato Mode will solve your problem. Read page 141 of the manual.

In fact read the entire manual while you're at it :)

I believe using midi loopback, yes. If you are on a mac experiment with the internal IAC bus. I can't confirm this, but I imagine you could set the markers to midi notes, then from session view create short midi clips that output those said notes to the iac bus. enable the iac for ins and outs and l...

solution: use a custom painted qwerty keyboard with a guitar strap to launch clips. or program your controller to send cc values instead of notes. or yeah, midi channels. you can even program which controller live listens for midi on in the IO pane on the arrange and session strip. there's like five...

How about just save the project as a new name? Then you can just reload it to get back to where you were. I do wish Live had an auto-numbering scheme for saves, so first time you save something its sufiixed with 001, second time this is 002 etc so you have a complete save history and also most usef...
