I don't know why anyone would trust the house engineer to mix for you when you can do it yourself on stage and just send a stereo out to the house board. I've seen some real trainwrecks occur when electronic bands get complicated with their routing. I just wouldn't be able to stand it. We submix it ...

Thats plenty to keep you busy. Looks fun. I totally agree with you about rehearsing in the studio with your mobile rig. Right now it's a pain in the ass to regroup all the devices before and after shows. Not condusive to productivity at all. That's why I want to clean up the messy routine of having ...

Show your STAGE set-ups!
I'm tired of putting everything in it's original box when carrying gear to shows. Time to invest ina few rack cases. I'm curious to see how some of you guys manage your gear while on the road. Right now our basic setup is as follows: 1. Nord Modular 2. PC tower and 15" lcd 3. MPC2000 4. Antares...

Ah of course. That makes sense. The demo clip has all drums routed to discrete channels. I'm just routing the midi track to master. Perfect. I'll throw it in stereo mode and should fix things. I love the way DFHS sounds and plays but it is a bit confusing, the layout. Thanks for the help Chris. BTW,...

DFH Superior Custom & Vintage users...HELP!
I spent the requisite hours installing the 5 double-sided DVD's last night and everything looks to be where it's supposed to be. I followed the manuals instructions to the letter(I thought) and can audition the individual wavs in each folder. But there is not an icon anywhere in my system that launc...

BFD Deluxe Collection. Good with Live 6?
I'm about to pull the trigger on FXpansion BFD Deluxe collection and upgrade my RAM by another 1gb. Before I do, would anybody care to weigh in on any pros/cons when using it with Live 6? I will NEVER use "loops" or pre-loaded midi files. I want to program each drum individually on my keyb...

That Asus looks great, Clearscreen. But a bit out of budget for me. Ultimately about $1000 tops is what I've earmarked for a new lappy. I'll need to reserve a few bucks for a firewire or usb interface too. But thanks for the reco. Your posts always seem to be very knowledgeable when discussing noteb...

Need a PC Laptop WITHOUT shared video mem.
I've been on the scope for a new notebook and it's discouraging how many incorporate shared video memory. My Toshiba is unusable because of this. I tried using it onstage three times with my US-122 and everytime it glitched and sputtered and...just sucked. I'd like some recommendations on particular...
