Mystery LFO ruining Operator instruments!
This has happened several times. I'll customize an instrument using Operator, and it'll sound great.. until I notice a long LFO modulation going on affecting the volume. I clicked and clicked, and reset every LFO parameter I could find to 0.00. Yet it still persists. What's up with this?

Re: Simple Mastering in Ableton
The simplest mastering: just make everything loud and toss a Limiter set to 0db with a lookahead of 6ms on the Master.

Re: Possible to do programming for realistic trumpets in Live?
I've never heard realistic synth trumpets, so here's another vote for editing some samples.
However, if you just want some simple trumpet part without much melody, it might be possible via the EIC and a skillful use of effects.

Re: Developing my sound...
i gave real world 66, and moonjumping a listen. Real world 66 didn't really do it for me. When u titled it grungeindustrial i was expecting more of a dark feel. I think you have some nice drum fills in there though. Moonjumping has a nicer feel to it kinda sounds like video game music(which is not ...

Developing my sound...
Check my SC page (in sig)!
My music is a bit strange, but i'd appreciate any listens/comments (incl. constructive criticism!).
PS. It's hard to get any listens on Soundcloud when you're not Dubstep!!

Re: work in progress or is it finished? harsh critisism please!!
RE: Soundcloud.. it's weird, I noticed that my tracks were just a lot QUIETER when played on SC than on, say, Winamp. It was frustrating, but I figured it had to do with mastering the track or something (although that still wouldn't explain why some songs' volume relative to others would still shrin...

This can be done through panning, stereo separation etc. You could even sidechain the problematic frequencies.

You need more RAM, or to streamline your comp while using Live + freeze some tracks.

...waste a lot of time.... this is your mistake. NONE of it is a waste of time...... it is all a learning curve Yes. Yes. I've started dozens of sets/tracks by now, with hundreds of different rhythms, melodies, and ideas that are just shelved on my hd. And for every mp3 i've printed, there are at l...

UNDO LIST
I noticed I had deleted something I shouldn't have, many minutes later (after doing a lot of other stuff). I could have spend the next 20 minutes clicking 'undo', but it'd be nice if there were a list of undoable actions to just scroll through. I realize sometimes it's not possible to undo something...

Re: piano sounds one dimensional why?
Some things I like to do with piano to get it sounding really "grand": Reverb high long Release time a short, not-very-wet Simple Delay effect filter the higher frequencies to be a bit quieter (or lower the 'Colour' value) If you're playing single notes, add a Chord midi effect with an oct...

Thanks for the replies
There are a few newer songs posted. Though they aren't limited to industrial, progressive or anything like that.
