Re: Beatseeker = P.O.S.
I have been able to find any videos that show you how to actually set up and use beatseeker. The only video I've seen just shows it off as a demo but doesn't tell you how set up or get started.
Any links or suggestions that I may have missed would be super helpful.
Thanks!

Just figured out the answer (and correct me if I'm wrong here) but it looks like if you 'save' you can no longer undo changes.
Wow.
Wow.

Re: Undo (Ctrl+Z) randomly does not work (Live 9.0.1)
Same problem here. This is a major issue. Just had someone record a vocal track and didn't notice that record was armed for all live drum tracks (8 audio channels) because it was under a "drum" subgroup and the vocal track just wiped out all of the drum tracks. Now control z does not work....

Jump to and play a locator via a MIDI mapped button
Hi, I'm trying to be able to jump to and play from a locater in Ableton 9 from session view during a live performance. In other words, to be able to have different sections of a song (e.g. chorus, verse, etc) mapped to different midi buttons so that I can just jump there in time. I've tried this the...

Use FCB1010 to select instruments (single tracks)
I'm trying to get a FCB1010 pedal to select a single track in ableton. Now it will select a pedal is MIDI mapped to select a track but it does not unselect the old track even when the preferences are set to exclusive for record arm or to solo. The goal is so that the FCB1010 pedals act to switch bet...

Guitar amp modeling in Ableton: How to get better sounds
I'm not very impressed with the amp model sounds in Ableton compared with Logic. Do people have suggestions for good plugins to get better sounds? I can actually record guitar direct input into Logic and fool people (professional studio audio engineers) with Logic  , but no such luck with Able...

Re: Any guitar players out there?
I've had some good luck with fulltone pedals. They have a nice warm sound and two levels of distortion.

Re: Easy chord inversions mapped to a knob? Is this possible?
Yes... C, E, G... I like the suggestions of using the arpeggiator. I have thought about the arpeggiator to take a series of notes and to keep inverting them up but I'm not exactly sure how to execute this. I am playing guitar and singing (live) while doing this and also controlling ableton wi...

Easy chord inversions mapped to a knob? Is this possible?
Hi, I'm trying to find a way in Ableton to take simple phrase, say three 4 notes played in a C major chord, one on each quarter note, C, F, G, C for a one measure and to map a knob/dial so that as I turn it up to the right it will begin to invert that arpeggio up the keyboard, so F, G, C, F then G, ...

Looking for places or ways to share .als files?
Are there any sites or places that people upload and or share .als files? Even just MIDI files would be cool to?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Max
