Strange, because it works fine for me.

Yes, in addition to the midi in & outs connectors, you also have all these inputs/outputs available on the USB port, with no driver required !

The Bitstream is 379 euros including shipping, same price than the small model but much more features for the bitstream.

The d-beam has been replaced by the ribbon once CME started the distribution of the bitstream 3X.

From what I heard, CME preferred to replace the D-Beam due to Roland patents, and since the distribution over US was handled by Yamaha.

btw, my Bitstream 3X features a ribbon controller, it is very ...

The poor build quality of the bitstream 3X was only on the first serie from CME.
All the quality issues have been improved for a long time now.

You should be able to find a lot of posts where Bitstream users are more than happy.

I own a bitstream 3X from CME and I can tell you it is a great great ...

I definetly love my Bitstream 3X !

So yes I think this is currently the best trade off between quality, number of controls, functions (automations) and price.

I had a remote zero sl that I sold to order a bitstream 3x, the remote zero is really cheap compared to the Bitstream, this is my point of ...

I just received the latest version from CME, I heard there were some units with problems (like remote sl) on the first serie shipped from CME.

This new serie is ok, at least mine ! From what I understand that's why there was a delay between the first and second serie from CME, build quality has ...

As a owner of the bitstream 3X, I must say it is much more powerful than the remote SL, the metal case make is robust, the Mackie control emulation works great, the unique LFO and other automations make it very attractive.
This is my point of view, I saw the remote in a shop and it's really plastic ...
