14-Bit Controller Messages, in a Control Surface...?
Hey guys! I'm working on a MIDI controller using Max/MSP and Arduino right now. I want to be able to send potentiometer values at high resolution, so I know I should be using the Absolute14Bit setting. Here's the problem: I can make 14-bit messages work when I map specific parameters (cmd-m) but I c...

Re: is it possible to 'hold' midi cc values using sustain pedal?
I have a Korg padKontrol and it has a toggle mode, both for Notes and CCs. Hit it once, 127. Hit it again, 0. That should do what you want right out of the box.
Dunno if you want to cash out for more gear, though. Just another option.

Good Drum Sample Libraries?
I feel like my ideas are getting stale because I'm using a lot of the same, boring waveforms that came in Live's sample library. I think the thing that would help the most is just a bunch of One shot samples, probably of drums. Any recommendations? I've been looking at Drum Crate at Track team audio...

Re: Everyone who wants educationprice on upgrade sign up here.
+1. I'm really angry about paying hundreds of dollars to upgrade. What I really want? For Cycling74 to finish Pluggo for Max 5. I know Max for Live will be really awesome, but I already own Live 7 AND Max, and I don't want to pay all this money for stuff I already have. It makes it even worse when A...

Shift+F1, Ctrl+F1 to cue and arm track 1, etc
I love the first 8 function keys! They are very helpful for quickly turning stuff on and off and don't require a preset key to use. What if you could also ARM RECORD and CUE using a modifier (shift, ctrl, alt) and the function keys! I think it would be a great feature, and not too hard to implement,...

Bring back the hotkeys for mapping Control Surfaces!
Now that I actually have one of these, I REALLY miss this. I remember seeing it in Live 6. Why did it have to go??!?

HELP! Xponaut Voice Tweaker VST making ugly clicks and pops
Has anyone tried this? My bandmate cashed out $100 for it and I'm worried that he wasted his money. Tons of clicks (little 1-sample glitches) are happening all over the place. It seems to be when he starts to play, and when he stops. (We're using the VST to pitch-shift a tuba. Slow attacks and slow ...
