after reading through the FAQ and reading one post in this forum (after the manual said NOTHING....) i figured it out. i wish ableton would really allow to RTFM....

latency compensation in 6.0.5?
hi,
just rerun the "exercise" of measuring the latency (built in lesson). when doing it as written in the lesson, it turns out to be 1ms of latency.... but why is the monitoring "off"? this is not a real situation... however - i turn on the monitor on the record track (or set it to "in" instead ...

compressor look ahead?
hi all,
to not spam the forum with a new thread, i put my questions here:
did anyone of you actually try plug in plug in latency compensatin for compressor II in "look ahead" mode (using 0,1 and 10ms)?. i did build a setup described as "parallel compression" and just tested whether the tracks ...
