Re: Music Production. Help me Please.

Hi. don´t panic and never put yourself under pressure. One thing you should never forget -> gear does not make music for you. (exection -> tyros / kronos :P ) Synthesis is a science and from my experience, you won´t get satisfying results if your only approach is try and error. Knowledge is the key....

Re: Push 2 for a Maschine User

I've haven't found any information on that overdub count in, it only does the count in on an empty track. There's gotta be a setting, I just can't find it. Is there an easy way to turn a drum pad into its own instrument? That would work for me. The tap temp is just recessed so i miss it. Maybe gott...

Re: how do i: save this sliced sample as a .wav file

Hi, i use the "crop-sample" feature in simpler/sampler (use it direct on the audiofile) - pick one slice on the drumrack to select the part you whant/like - in the simpler/sampler inst. right click (win user) into the audiofile, choose "crop sample" - now drag and drop, the slice from the drumrack t...

Re: clip record issue

Hi, maybe you have to change the "Global Quantize" to a smaller value? To verify, press play and look a the clipslot you want to record in, when the clip-rec ([ o _____]) blinks and doesn´t record directly, change the "Global Quantize" to a smaller value (eg. 1/16 / none) and repeat till it fits you...

Re: PXT

Hi, sorry for the delay. So to clarify: I have a drum rack with 4 Pads. Each pad contains a Sampler with 128 samples each (Selectable with the chain selector). So Pad/1 has 128 Kicks, Pad/2-128 Snares, Pad/3-128 HiHats, Pad/4-128 Toms. Can I, in Live 9.1/or the PXT script, step sequence a pattern of...

Re: saving track presets inside dummy clips

Thanks for your help! :!: I've been reading up in ClyphX in the mean time and start to understand what it does. Amazing, is all I'll say!!! This should definitely also help the OP. Just one more question though to clarify: These "x-clips" can still also contain the midi notes or audio data, right?!...

Re: PXT

Hi, can any of this get me a customized Sampler set up in Push? (I determine which parameters are displayed on which Push tab and what they are named? It depends, most limiting and annoying , you cant´t browse samples from push, except in drumracks. you can´t browse samples in sampler 8O and you can...

Re: saving track presets inside dummy clips

So how do you assign this snap shot to one specific clip? Is it done via program change or via different means? In any case it seems that it is about time for me to look into and learn clyphX finally ! I don´t know how it is saved ( some python magic  ) but it is not a program change (so no m...

Re: saving track presets inside dummy clips

Hi, i know two solutions for this task. 1. ClyphX -> Snap Action (X-Clips) or Snap Track can store and recall Snapshots of Track and Device settings. The number of parameters to get "snaped" is configurable through user settings. Works great with Live 9. 2. Kapture (M4L) and Kapture PAD (iOS) Kaptur...

Re: PXT

PXT Live - Map 8 of your favourite parameters to the encoders (Bank A/B) you can map all available parameters (track basis) and don´t need to select an intrument (blue hand) in first place to control the parameters - Clip Chop (audio/midi) - two melodic step sequencer (mono/poly) with pre listen of ...

Re: Non Ableton VST in PUSH

Hi, yes you can browse VST-Presets from the Push hardware like with native Ableton instruments. But you have to do it manualy. 1. you have to rack up your VST - Instrument -> Instrument Rack 2. Save your racked VST in the USER Library -> ex. under Presets or any folder you whant but you have to save...

Re: New Maschine Studio and Maschine 2.0 Update

Speaking of parameter lock: I'm really curious how it will be implemented for Push. In Maschine there is only one option and that is hold down step, twidle knob and the parametr is set for that step.....and every step after that. That's good for many parameters, but for some others and of course an...

Re: New Maschine Studio and Maschine 2.0 Update

I see nothing in the new hardware of Maschine that could trigger the same effect in me. (certainly not for 1 000 €!) Same for the software compared to Live: It's great and longed for by me (I will definitely by it!), but it's no rival to Live! Absolutely! Push is incredible good. Great fun and a so...

Re: New Maschine Studio and Maschine 2.0 Update

I've been called a Maschine fanboy on this very forum, but: How so?! I mean on those videos it's hard to tell what's happening at all, but I certainly don't get the vibe that either would be out-dated! Yeah iam a fanboy, for technology. Sorry gang, i had no intention to make this thread into a X VS...
