Well, everyone was right, the sound was very dated, so I updated the sound, while still trying to retain some of those trance roots, what do you guys think?

I hope you're kidding. APC40 has endless rotaries with visual MIDI feedback, so that when you switch from one device to another it shows you instantly what the device settings are. Nanokontrol doesn't.

I have the LP and am enjoying it very much. The APC40 will do just about everything the LP does, you just have some cool extra buttons made for ableton live and scrolling around, it's really fun. But the APC40 has so many more options, like knobs and more, truly the whole cake.

BUT! for the price ...

I don't mean to sound like I'm sounding lol, but does the Flo Rida song annoy anyone else? It plays at my work and the radio alllllll day long. His lyrics aren't impressive, but the worst is the over-using of the sample made Avicii and Pretty Lights famous (I get a good feeling)

That giraffe is so odd, someone gave it to me when they returned from Africa (I live in Boston/USA) but the legs aren't all the same, it has to lean against something.

And yeah, one of the headphones are my ps3's even tho Dolby 7.1 is pretty legit ...

randomly at times audi quits. i'm sure this is just an option or button i do not see...how ever i don't press any buttons that i know of... i will be playing in session, or this mode, and copying/pasting to create drops and such, and bam (more like no bam), one track will grey out and stop playing ...

please do excuse my n00b-ism.

i started a new live session, or file, whatever it should be called. and after a while it allowed me to select the tracks and make the numbers yellow. as shown in the photo i will now attach.

sometimes when playing clips in the session, they wont stop and allow me to ...

I really want to get better at ableton, I actually study CS and have always been great with hardware and software, this just for whatever reason has me lost at times.
