Assigned all the pads you use for remote control to midiport b on your mpd.Zhen in the midiprefs of live for the second midi-input from the mpd24 "track" should not be selected, while for the first midi-input track is selected. Setup like this you can have for example one preset on the mpd to contro...

hey i was wondering how you map the move up, down, left, and play selected scene. like, once the mpd is all set up, and i hit midi map, what do i click before assigning a pad? i´m not using the midimap-function, you will have to select a bcr and a mackie as a controlsurvace in your preferences in l...

I´m using a x-50 together wit live and i think it works quite well. You can set up a couple of tracks to control the different timbres in multimode and start scetching out ideas without the mouse. Some of the sounds later get replaced by software vsti but personally i really like some of the korg so...

I have a emu 1616m pcmcia with an adaptor on my desktop pc. Works like charme. It´s not the same card but the same bus. Just make sure that it´s not on the same irq as the graphiccard that might cause some trouble. happened to me, changed the pci-slot for the adaptor and everything was fine.

You can also use it as a control surface for stuff like undo, redo, solo tracks, play scene or clip, record enable etc. Once you´ve found a setup that works for you it really increases work flow. I tried the Padkontrol in a shop once and it felt like the pads really are a bit more sensitive when it c...

I had a chance to play with it once when robert henke was at my university. He was there to talk about interfaces and in the evening he did set up 2 laptops with atlantic waves running. There where only about 30 people present so he started to call in the audience to join him on the second laptop. F...

Just an off the wall question, but do you have your system set up to transmit and receive sync from the same devices? No, tried it both ways but always with the othr direction turned off and the electribe´s clock not set to auto but to internal or external, the x-50 always in external and in live a...

Ok for me the Problem just as misteriously APPEARED. I had quite a lot of crashes recently wich seem to be releated to midi-sync (Same Project without ext sync doesn´t crash). So i made my EMX master which worked better but gave me occasional crashes when pressing the stop button on my electribe. I ...

sounds good. Haven´t had a chance to check it out though. As you couldn´t open my files here are the Note nr. of the important pads, so you can program your mpd24 yourself:(I used channel 1b for the remote stuff and the port a to Track/Impulse) Arm Track 1-8 (note 000-0007) Mutes tr- 1-8 (note 016-0...

Hi! I´m using live with my electribe mx and an x-50. Live is master. It was mentioned before, when my electribes or the x-50 Clocks are set to "auto" they sync badly and i even have crashes, set to extern (or extern usb for the x-50) it works fine. Second, whenever i have my w.lan on my sync is comp...

Yes can´t wait for the official automap aswell. And i Hope the transport Buttons will be supported. I would actually love the record button to enable/disable Overdub. So far I´m using a footswitch on my x-50 for that, but it would be nice to have both footswitch and button.

Hi! I´m new to this forum but i might have figured something out that helps. I use my mpd with live in a mix of BCR and Mackie-emulation mode. I´ve uploaded a file that contains my 2 mpd Presets. http://www.audiomesh.de/contents/MPD24.rar Load them to your MPD24 using the uniquest-editor, then selec...
