i've read through the 40billion "how to sync two laptops" threads, and i'm all set in that regard. their clocks are syncdd no problem, spacebar on the master starts the slave, changing tempo reads on the second computer all good. check, no problem.

now, my conundrum is how to start ...

You see with vinyl, even if you record digitally you can cut the vinyl master from a 24bit digital master so NO NEED FOR DITHERING (if you record at 24bit 44.1khz) plus greater audio fidelity not just "warmth".

yeah, the digidesign venue still sounds like a digital desk but allows you to use TDM and RTAS plug ins on each channel which is kind of fun. I was using echo farm, the sansamp plug in for some grit on DI's and a few others.

are you paying any attention? the GOP does not like her. it sounds cute for her to run against Hillary but that's never gonna happen. Palin really strikes me as someone who was happy being in Alaska, grass roots politician, more into the people than Washington. being in a small town ...
