Re: Interface for Ableton Live
Ok Mikemc :D thanks for the response but that doesn't really answer my question. I'm asking if I should buy a DJ/mixer interface to perform with or if my normal studio interface is fine. I have an interface already thats why I am asking. I'm aware though that certain interfaces can output a louder ...

Interface for Ableton Live
Hey I'm trying to practice with Ableton Live so I can perform my songs with it but I have a question about equipment that you should use to perform with. Should I get a DJ USB interface or would my normal Mbox be fine to use live? I was looking at the Rane Sixty Two because the Bridge intrigues me ...

Re: Playing live with Live
It's better to use audio clips when you can, because there's less load on the cpu and less to go wrong. On top of that it will be much less hassle to export the material from PT/Logic if you simply bounce it to audio.

Playing live with Live
Hey i'm interested in performing live with Ableton Live so I got the program for Christmas. I don't use Live for production though, I use Pro Tools and more recently Logic Pro. My question is how would I go about importing these into Live for live performance? Should I import audio waveforms or is ...

Re: SO CAL / OC / LA - Where to find real collaborators ???
Hey Dave,
I'm in San Diego, we used to have a monthly "share" event where users would get together and make noise but it's on hiatus at the moment.
SD is a little farther than you were hoping but if you're interested in getting into a community that makes music, check out fawm.org - February ...

Live and Pro Tools
I haven't bought Live yet, I'm trying out the trial version right now to teach myself how to use it, but I will buy it eventually because I want to play live shows. What I'd like to know is, up until now I have created all my songs in Pro Tools, is it possible to import the audio and midi files of ...
