Re: Anyone have unresponsive automation points in Live 10?
I experience this without any fancy mouse software, using a wired gaming mouse. You've tried it with Pen Tablet mode turned off and it works fine, jur?

Re: Anyone have unresponsive automation points in Live 10?
Yea absolutely infuriating. Without pen tablet mode enabled, clicking and slowly dragging an automation point will produce jumpy changes. This occurs with both vertical changes and horizontal changes even with "Snap Automation to Grid" setting off. Glad I found this thread after some searc...

Re: MFL Collection by The Covert Operators
broc had this to say about the faulty toggle behavior of live.text: As a workaround I'm using a dummy live.text in toggle mode that bangs the button on each transition. After mapping to the dummy it can be hidden with 'Hide on Lock' in the inspector. <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------...

Re: Live.button does not work with key map?
Present Day:
Even when a live.text object is in button mode it behaves the exact same way as in toggle mode when triggered by remote MIDI or even qwerty keys. It behaves properly in both modes when triggered by mouse clicks however.
This occurs in Live 8.2.2, Max 5.1.8

Re: MFL Collection by The Covert Operators
Awesome gear, thank you! Any ideas why the 'quick load' buttons on Snapshot Morpher act as toggles when mapped to remote pads or even qwerty keys?
Cheers again

+1. All of those features would be amazing. I'm kind of surprised arrangement-->session recording hasn't been implemented yet.

Re: Favorite Waves plugins you couldn't do without?
the L series limiters are amazing for mastering... and I have an AudioTrack plugin on just about every.. audio track. All waves plugins blow Lives' out of the water. If I didnt have the native version which cant do sidechaining I would probably not have a use for any of Live's plugs. I know ableton ...

mastered tunes above 0db
I've wondered this a long time: How is it that an already released tune (read: mastered) imported into Live can consistently have peaks above 0db if the fader is set to 0db. What am I not understanding about mastering/digital audio?

have to make sure those gooveboxes are set to external tempo rather than their own. not sure how to make reaktor knobs configurable though, you definitely do it in reaktor

Re: midi CC on/off control
as far as i can tell there are 3 different sets of data coming from the XY touchpad. all are midi CC's. is there any way to rig up Ableton to get something like a note on/off from these? or, as a somewhat less ideal alternative, how could i use a change in any of the CC's to affect an on/off button?...
