is this possible in Live?

i have an instrument which is audio input depended and as far as i can see there's no way to send audio into an instrument on a MIDI track...or is there?

Waves plugs and Native Instruments VSTi's are the worst but it's more or less all plugs

the driver compensation doesn't help and the latency is different each time depending on what i'm doing
so it's hard to pinpoint a number. sometimes it's up to a 1/2 second

1. more midi tools. velocity randomization etc

as i'm adding new plugs/instr my latency gets bigger and bigger :( after restarting Live the latency goes back to normal this is extremely annoying i must say. i didn't have this problem in any of the earlier versions so i'm guessing this has something to do with the new audio engine computer info: ...
