You're absolutely right. It's a DI guitar and I'm using the Ableton FX + Amp & Cabs to get my desired sounds. I'll stick with monitoring on/auto.

is there a mac equivalent yet? I believe plogue bidule http://www.plogue.com will provide similar wrapping functionality, and I believe that is available for the mac. It costs about 60 Euros. Unfortunately the most recent trial version has expired :? I'd wait until anther trial version is available...

Very true, there are a lot of articles on Live in CM, but they're generally good for beginners.

Unfortunately, the files for the tutorial "Complete Track" in the Insiders Guide is missing a ton of samples. Looks like they forgot to do a "Collect All and Save". Oops!
