Re: Volume slider is selecting track (Korg Nanokontrol2)

Hi, I'm now happliy using Live 11 with the nanoKontrol2 using the MackieControl scripts with just a one line change in a file. I've not found any need to modify anything with the Korg Kontrol Editor. In fact none of the Korg SW or drivers are installed. I factory reset my NK2 by pressing and holding...

Re: Guitar recorded in to Session clip missing attack transient of first note

You're absolutely right. It's a DI guitar and I'm using the Ableton FX + Amp & Cabs to get my desired sounds. I'll stick with monitoring on/auto.

Thanks ;)

Re: Guitar recorded in to Session clip missing attack transient of first note

I've come to the conclusion that I need Player Error Correction (tm) :D I think my timing is a bit eager to get that first note down when I'm recording. I tested recording with punch-in in arrangement view and I noticed about 50% of the time I was strumming early. I just need to practice more. Simpl...

Re: Guitar recorded in to Session clip missing attack transient of first note

Sorry forgot to mention I'd tried with this option on or off and it didn't fix it.

I've also checked Driver Error compensation and it's fine. 0 DEC required

Guitar recorded in to Session clip missing attack transient of first note

Hi All, On Windows 10, Live 10 I'm using an m-audio Fast Track using M-audio's drivers (256 samples of buffer, 8ms latency) to record guitar in to a clip in session view. If I switch monitoring OFF when recording this track (recommended to avoid a delay by Anthony (SeedToStage and Earthcry) then wit...

Re: nanoKONTROL 2 issues - track focus

Hi Guidold, Thanks for the quick reply. I decided to buy http://www.nativekontrol.com/nK2-Live.html and it seems to do exactly what I want with no hassle. It's only 15 USD It fixes the jumping faders problem and also the unwanted track select on fader movement, as well as adding a whole bunch of stu...

Re: nanoKONTROL 2 issues - track focus

Hi guidold, Did you get this working correctly in the end? I have the same problem. I have no crash, but I get flickering between selected tracks. I tried chymera's idea but that didn't fix it. I also can't get the faders to use pick-up mode. Meaning they jump around :( I'm now looking at a simple s...

Re: Public Beta - AcmeBarGig's Shred 1.5x (Guitar Amp Sim Suite)

Too bad, no Mac version... Yeah same old story. Unfortunately free stuff costs money and time to develop like anything else. The team working on this are pretty stretched just getting the PC version out. It's a shame really, the sound quality and low CPU load rivals that of amp sims that cost sever...

I've added a right-click convert to MP3 192kbps to the Windows explorer that uses the lame encoder.

Unfortunately the most recent trial version has expired :? I'd wait until anther trial version is available...

Very true, there are a lot of articles on Live in CM, but they're generally good for beginners.

Unfortunately, the files for the tutorial "Complete Track" in the Insiders Guide is missing a ton of samples. Looks like they forgot to do a "Collect All and Save". Oops!
