i have a mac and havebn't had this problem for the year that i've used it until now. all of the sudden thsi week it strated doing it once during every three or four songs...

i need some troubleshooting help:

my band uses Live 7 for backing tracks when we play live. this week we started having a problem where the sound drops out entirely for a half second or so. the music stays in time and there doesn't seem to be a CPU overload problem.

can someone recomend a decent intereface for Live DJing? would an M-Audio MobilePre USB work or would i need a Fast Track Pro? is there anything else that works that cheaper?
