THANKS FOR THE RESPONSE GUYS! And Stefan i do believe your are correct. Adjusting the attack ever sooo slightly makes the pop sound diminish to an acceptable level. I leave the autowarp function off...so I knew that wasn't a factor. I'm glad to know that its the browser not something in Live devices...

Why do my low samples sound different in the browser...

Could anyone explain to me why 808-styled, sine wav type kicks sound better in the browser than they do when I load them into a simpler in an empty live set w/ no effects anywhere in the set. They'll sound PERFECT unprocessed in the browser. I'll load them into simpler OR impulse...and unprocessed t...

I can't speak for you. BUT. I had the same issue audio would glitch when I dragged stuff around in arrangement view...It was glitchy and physically delayed WHEN dragging stuff around. I came up on a free Nvidia Geforce video card w/ like 256mb of video ram. Problem SOLVED! Might work for you.

turn off the overdub button at the top. then turn it back on when you're ready to record.

alternatively, create a new midi channel and where it says "midi to"...route that to the primary midi channel...this way you can keep the "parts"/melodies isolated.

samz_ thanks, bro. and likewise. you got some nice work on your page. found your work thought provoking and interesting.

nylarch_ good luck wit it. i think its number one feature is SPEED. you can build your kits very quickly w/ drumstack. after that. it does what they all do.

yeah, dude. drumstackz the shit. i was using battery 3 over impulse for lack of a layering feature. when i d/l'ed the drumstack set...it was an IMMEDIATE switch up. good - bye battery 3 (and its ridiculous load time). multiple outs make it the total package. i would've paid for this thing.

actually i bought battery 3 and never used it w/ fl 6. i found it ran smoother in live 6 so started using it. UNTIL i found drumstack. IT does EVERYTHING battery 3 can do...QUICKER. to your question, tho. i think you can import many different "kits" and soundsets into live..."nki"...

i'm not sure about converting to mono within in live...but you could open that track in any external audio editor and use the "convert to mono" feature...then reload that back into live.
