I noticed that Electric is using a lot more CPU power than Lounge Lizard. Strange because Lounge includes effects as well.

OSX and Apple have nothing to do with Linux and open applications. Apple is totally closed. iPhone, iTunes etc.

legato mode in Ableton, not synth

Recently I started to use the Legato mode again, for live pitch shifting loops. Great fun. The only thing I couldn't achieve is to record a midi-clip, I can only use Legato while live playing my keyboard. I record the output as audio clip but I'd rather use midi-clips for triggering the Legato mode....
