Re: Live 9 browser issues (windows)
I've been having identical issues where the browser would be empty and then upon restarting the program, it would populate, and then again on the next restart, it would be empty, and so on. Instead of having to restart the program each time the browser is empty, is there a way to get the browser to ...

Re: Windows 8 resource usage and DPC latency
thanks for looking into this and for reporting back. I'm not super happy about Windows 8's performance either. I hope they patch this up before launch.

Re: Any way to make arrangeme Loop smaller than 0.1.0 in length?
I'd also be very interested to see if this is possible. 0.1.0 is way too large for my own looping needs. 0.0.1 would be closer to what I'd like without any need for the workarounds suggested in this thread.

Re: windows8 preview... anyone try it out yet ?!
amplitube 2 no longer works in windows 8 for me. I'm hoping that this gets remedied down the road so that I don't find myself buying older plugins that may be incompatible with windows 8. Also the DPC issue is addressed on microsoft's forum as well . A real shame since I really do like a lot of thin...

keep external audio files from different sets separated
I've been working on trying to move specific sets that are under the same project from my desktop to my laptop and vice-versa and in doing so, I've found that I have this problem of knowing which audio files belong to which set since they're all in the same "Samples" folder. How do I go ab...

using computer keyboard to trigger midi notes locally
I was hoping to use the computer keyboard to trigger midi notes only on impulse while using an actual midi controller keyboard to trigger notes on operator or some other synths I've picked up. How would one go about setting up Live so that I can do this?

Re: launch currently selected clip with a midi controller?
if the features I'm asking about are available on a launchpad or the apcs, I figure it would then be a matter of finding out how it works on either of these controllers to apply that principle onto other midi controllers such as my novation x-station.

launch currently selected clip with a midi controller?
I realize that what I may be asking something very basic and at the heart of using Live as an instrument, but I was looking for a way to trigger clips without having to assign a button or key on my midi controller to each clip or scene I had interest in triggering. I'm familiar with the scene select...

Re: routing external effects to Live track
I've been finding myself getting a feedback loop, as I had feared, when hooking up my delay. One workaround I found for my soundcard, which has two ins and two outs (let's say channels 1 and 2), involved setting my cue and master out to only channel 2, while I would set my audio in to channel 1. I h...

to be honest, I haven't really been keeping track of the frequency of VST usage. I think what really gets my goat is not being able to simply copy another instance of a the midi map of a VST that has already set up and mapped in a song. This lack makes my workflow really enmired in stupid workarounds.

drop it in a rack, assign macros, save the rack. there are no presets for plug in assignments. you can only save midi assignments on a project level, not on a VST level. IOW no you can't load up a plug in and also load up a preset of assignments. so the bit about the macro (something I rarely use, ...
