Re: How do you change tempo within arrangement accurately?
Thanks for the tips, they sort my problem. Yet these are sort of workarounds, and setting tempo range doesn't solve the problem in case you have more than 2 tempo changes (as mentioned already). Automation should be more user friendly. Playing at 129.56 bpm causes problem over time when you want to ...

How do you change tempo within arrangement accurately?
During my 6+ years I've been using Live, I've never come across a situation where I had to automate increase or decrease of the tempo accurately. Now I'm in this situation and can't, for the love of god, do it exactly to desired tempo; when I move the automation dot with my mouse it gets always some...

Re: Controlling MC303 with Ableton
Maybe MPDs don't have thru ability? From the MPD32 manual: The operation of the MIDI OUT port changes depending on whether or not a USB cable is connected to the MPD32. • USB cable connected: MIDI data from your computer is passed to the MIDI OUT port. When a USB cable is connected, you should activ...

Re: 64 bit beta thoughts?
actually, thinking about it now I think I had to restart Live. the APC40 didn't work right off the bat. I remember it being non-responsive then going through the usual steps of deselecting and reselecting it in the midi preferences. I sorted it in a few minutes and totally forgot. Didn't work for m...

Re: 64 bit beta thoughts?
I downloaded it and tried it. A problem occured: APC 40 doesn't show up in the session grid and doesn't control anything. As I tried the same project on 32-bit counterpart (8.3.2) APC 40 works as it should. I'm going to consult support.

And this as well. But the OP has changed his mind and no harm done here, except for the fact that I'd love to get my hands on Tempest and I'm jealous.twisted-space wrote:enomusic wrote:Machinedrum is overpriced sampled drum machine.
