Re: drum rack/loss of sound quality??!
These odd default settings of simpler and sampler have been causing confusion and a lot of bollocks about inferior sound quality among noobs for a decade now. I don't understand why Ableton won't change the default settings.

Re: RME Multiface II dilemma
Thunderbolt to PCIe adapter http://www.sonnettech.fr/product/echoexpressse.html http://www.magma.com/expressbox-1t But I think the Multiface II needs a PCI card, not PCIe... MF II works with the PCIe as well. Thanks for the magma-link, though, I only knew about that sonnets box. Hopefully there wil...

Re: RME Multiface II dilemma
The same dilemma here, with the exception, that my MF runs via expresscard, and since Mac ditched expresscard slots, remaining options are either buy a PC with an expresscard slot or an expresscard to TB adapter to run with a new Mac. Let's face it: it's technology that will not be supported anymore...

Great inspiring stuff. Never been interested in MSEGs and been trying to do that kind of stuff with LFOs, but now I see their power. Thanks.

Re: Will Live 8 64 Bit support M4L and Video?
Ok, now that there is a Max 64 Bit beta I want to repeat my question: Will we be able to use the 64 Bit version of Ableton Live 8 with Max for Live? I am no fan of Live 9 so far and would prefer to continue using Live 8, but 64 Bit becomes more and more important here... An answer would be apprecia...

Re: How to minimise feedback on mics playing live?
1. Cut the lows from the signal that is send to your monitors, around 150 Hz. Search also for disturbing freqs and cut them. 2. Send the signal to your monitors as dry as possible (without delays, reverbs or so). If you need to send fx to your monitors as well, cut it with eq as stated above. 3. Try...

Re: Tape Wow Using Transpose?
You can also do it with simple delay in repitch mode. Thank you so much, this actually works. Everything everyone else has said to me did not really give a warping record effect, this finally did. And the fantastic thing is, it returns to normal when you stop moving the time around. What? I don't r...

Live has lovely frequency shifter plug in, which is perfect for this purpose, just remember to set phase to 0, so it won't pan all over.

Re: Audio interface sounds different to computer: Help please
So should I concentrate on getting the best sound through my computer sound card or my audio interface when putting the finishing touches? You should concentrate on listening through a lot of different systems (laptop speakers, iPhone earphones, car speakers etc.) and try to achieve best possible c...

In two months you've owned your plug-in bundle for 3 years and you complain about the price drop.
