Hi there, Looking for some insight... Apologies in advance if this is a silly question.. I have a Desktop Mac and a notebook Mac, and am sick of carting around hard drives with me when I take the notebook away... I'm hoping I can come up with a solution where I can have both Ableton projects and sam...

The good old Command+D is lovely, but the majority of the time I would like to duplicate the selected track with no data, but I would like to keep the plugins/vol/pan etc.

ie. for doing multitrack vocal stacks, or many other layered tasks which require many tracks using the same plugins.

Different from just key mapping in love, but a global setting, so when you open up any project it behaves exactly the same.

Along with this, I would like the ability to OSC map these to control surfaces or triggers such as streamdeck. Thanks!

+1 it would make my composing workflow coming from Adobe Premiere a billion times easier. I don't mind how old the OMF technology is. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE this feature.

Beware that "C" is the default shortcut to un/arm the selected track(s).

Thanks, that's a really good point! However most of the time I use the "-EnableArmOnSelection" function in options.txt

Make all your mappings in an empty set, and then save that as your default template for Live to use each time you start a new project.

Wow this would be incredibly powerful.

This is the one reason I have to go back to logic for film and tv projects, when I would much rather stay in the flow in the creative wonderland of Ableton Live.
