why doesn't follow action get you what you want?

because it works with beats and bars.
well of course you can set the sample to 1/32 and fuck around with follow action. but, again, if you change tempo it all changes with it.
So: to_change_tempo_of_some_and_at_the_same_time_use_unwarped samples ...

it is unbelievable that we can't still not loop a clip without warping. We have been asking this feature from Live 2 (at least for m). There are bulky workarounds that take a lot of time and efforts...

It can be done with a series of Scale plugs.

A series of them each transposing an octave to a certain octave, say the 4th octave as in your example

Followed by one to remap all notes to C

I had to move the lowest C on each of the first scale plugs to C#, for some strange overlapping / double ...

You might look into playing sounds in a Simpler or Sampler - might be some options there

Tried that, but it doesn't really help.


I'm using live for same sorts of means, in theatre etc.
So if I need to play a sound repeatedly without altering it's tempo&pitch, I use Simpler. Could you explain ...

I'm creating some synth instruments and I'm doing it by running multiple Simplers at the same time, keeping them all on rec.

Question: How can I change all incoming midinotes on one midi channel to, say C4? I'd like to use one of the Midi/Simpler channels to just add a small attacky hit to the ...
