Re: Why I stopped using most third party plug-ins

funny I was just thinking about this today. over the years I have definately gone through phases of collecting plugins and deleting them. I'm feeling like I've unnecessarily accumulated a heap that I'm not using so ill be deleting in the next few days. One question though: do you not find there are ...

Re: How do you guys ''organize'' your Ableton Push

Re: Reverb Suggestions?

Yeah man if I were you I would definately spending some time trying to fix the M4L convolution verb, seems silly to spend money on something else when you've already got something thats top notch and just sitting there!

Re: Reverb Suggestions?

Live's reverb? spend a bit of time getting to know it and its actually really good. Otherwise get 9 suite? theres the max 4 live convolution reverb in there and you get a whole load of other cool shit. Or the Lexicons from NI? Lexicons are awesome. I always use live's verb and lexicons

Re: Jon Hopkins' drums - processing, method, etc.

Well basically there isn’t a really simple answer to this. And this isn’t really an answer, more a set of observations on what I can hear in this track. First of all I recommend you read his XLR8R interview, he speaks a bit about his production process, including a really interesting working techniq...

Re: Ableton Push and Maschine Studio (as VST)

The the maschine controller works exactly the same as it does in standalone mode except the tempo is controlled by ableton. You can set it up now so that if you press play on the maschine hardware it'll start playing ableton. everything (routing / pad & group switching / chord sets everything) is ex...

Re: Ableton Push and Maschine Studio (as VST)

ive had maschine for ages and got push about 5 months ago. I've just about found a workflow / way of using them together that works for me - hopefully this will help you out in someway. I use maschine almost exclusively for drums / sampling, so I have it setup as such. I have the vst on 1 channel, a...

Dragging Clips to Browser Behaviour

I feel like I have a comprehensive grasp of how live works but this one bit I can't seem to get my head around.. how does the behaviour or dragging clips to browser function? This is my situation.. I have made a series of audio clips from a resample of a synth jam that I'd done in that project. I've...

Re: Imported Audio from Logic out of sync.

Thats the problem, I cant do that because it looks like the audio from the video is a different speed to the audio from logic. The first hit will be in time but then it gets progressively more and more out of time. I can't warp the video because they obviously shot it they way they did and i cant ch...

Imported Audio from Logic out of sync.

(holding tab on all of them so that they run vertically down arrange view) # Ive made sure that Autowarp long samples is off. # Ive made sure that loop/warp short samples is set to unwarped one shot # The pr...

Re: How does Live handle multi-output VSTi's

On a slightly off topic note, does anyone know if there is a way to automate parmaters of the master vst from its external instrument tracks? at the moment I seem to have to constatly go back to the master vst to automate parameters within the plugin, which is a pain in the ass, but if anyone knows ...
