Well dang you must have a newer version of MobilePre. Mine has no interface at all; it just shows up in all my recording software as one of the input sources. I've even searched the hard drive and into the MobilePre folder in Programs etc. There's a .dll, a readme file and an .exe for uninstalling. ...

One or both of those may solve my problem! But it's after midnight so I'll have to test this tomorrow......
