UGH Im having windows 8 problems... for one thing I cant use any midi devices that arnt in abletons control surfaces list... I used to be able to just select :none but nonono not on WIN 8... Anyone able to get this to work? Ive read that everyone has this problem...

I have a kontrol s2 im trying to use with live 8... I used it on my old computer worked fine but on the new one im having problems... ableton recognizes it i have it selected in input devices with track on... when i turn knobs the key/MIDI in indicator does not light up... the MIDI track in indicato...

I had a similar issue when recording drums into protools... Fixed it by adding predelay to the armed track... weird solution but it worked... might want to try this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NA9mg0TSN0

vengeance samples are really punchy without even using any tools.... i always put a compressor on the whole beat too... im kind of a noob though so dont take my advice too seriously lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NA9mg0TSN0
