My apologies, you're quite right.
My VSTs do have presets, which show up in the VST program dropdown in the plug-in device. I was expecting to see the AU's factory presets there.

Not so much a beta bug, as something I assumed would be addressed in Live 8.
Live does not offer access to the factory presets of AU plug-ins, only to those of VST plug-ins. Why is this?

so how does augustus compare to mobius in terms of being able to customize, do things like multiply/divide, copy time from loop to loop, etc.? (i think i didn't use augustus in past b/c was mac only?) maybe i should just try demo, if there is one. thx. There certainly is a demo, so yes, try it out....
