You used to be able to click on the name of a clip in the Clip Title Bar and it would take you to the location in the Browser.
That no longer works so I was wondering if anyone knows how to do that now in Live 12?

Clip View surprise on Push2
After purchasing Live 12 I accidentally pressed the clip button twice on Push 2 and what a pleasant surprise. I was not expecting to see the session view on the Push screen.
Has it been like this for a while? I'm wondering what else has slipped under my radar.

Live 12 - Premature Looper excitement
So I get myself all worked up for a moment when I heard the Live12 announcement, in particular the words Arrangement Looper. My excitement was sadly short lived when I realised that it was for looper points in the Arrangement view. Does anyone else think that a persistent window that shows the statu...

Re: Push 3 "Arrangement View" Concept/Mockup
It's great to see this and would be a really welcome addition to Push 2 & 3.
This is entirely possible already with the Live API as Stray achieved Arrangement editing from the PUSH 1.
Let's hope Ableton implement this soon.

Re: Is development on previous Push models abandoned?
Fingers crossed some of that Stray magic can seep in. My guess is that it's a fine balance between innovative ideas and keeping the product 'pure'. *edit* Just one tiny example of this. In PXT-Live you could cycle your drum rack pads to a pitch mode so that each pad could be played in a melodic way....

Re: Is development on previous Push models abandoned?
My wish is that Stray comes back and really moves Push playability forwards. If anyone used PXT-Live + will know what I mean. It had so many neat 'modes' that weren't just for recording/production but also had a suite of tools for live manipulation. It even had some really in-depth functions to cont...

Re: P3 pad sensitivity - Honest opinions?
jur that sounds crazy good. That's always been an issue in the past when trying to do fast triplets or flams.
Sounds like Push3 is the way to go when it comes to nuanced drumming, and we've not even talked about adding variation to the sound in the xy of the pad.

Re: P3 pad sensitivity - Honest opinions?
Thanks for the info guys, really appreciate it. I've been finger drumming for a long time and have always been on the lookout for the perfect pads. I actually really loved the pads on the Push 1, more than Push 2 which kind of feels a bit hit or miss RE: consistency. I do a lot of ghost hits and syn...

P3 pad sensitivity - Honest opinions?
Is there anyone that owns all 3 Push models that can give an honest opinion on the Push3 pad sensitivity and playability for Drums and Instruments?
The videos that I've seen suggest that the pads are a LOT better than previous models and this alone is something that might entice me into upgrading.

Thanks jur. You say the focus 'WAS' on p3.. Does that mean we'll expect some P2 improvements soon?

Is development on previous Push models abandoned?
I have a Push 1 & 2 and I have a question about the development of all the Push versions. Are the added features to Push 3 also mirrored to the previous Push versions? The reason I ask is that I (maybe erroneously) recall the Crop Audio clip feature being added to Push 3 in the release notes a f...

Re: Crossfade between 4 tracks with x-y pad is it possible?
This sounds like a good idea and I'd like to know the result if you find one. Bear in mind that you will never be able to isolate 3 tracks ever. i.e. if you are halfway between x0 and x1 and want to dial in only y1, then you can't as the crossfader will be halfway between y0 and y1. y0-------y1 I I ...
