Random pitch bend on a per note basis

Hey all, I was wondering if there was a way to apply a slight, random pitch bend to every note (different amount for every note) without setting it manually (way too many notes). I'm using a soundfont run through Sampler, and I've looked through Sampler and I saw a randomize panning device but nothi...

You're wavs may not work either if they are lower than 8 bit. You can download audacity for free, open up your 4 bit wavs, and save them again as 16 bit wavs (i suspect the 12 bits are just left empty). then you can import them into Ableton. I suggest that salesperson be re-educated on the file type...

thanks. i looked at enigma and can't seem to change the parameter value of any of the pads. i tried the help file but it says it's incompatible with vista (the help file, not trigger finger or enigma).

triggerfinger to launch clips

Hey all, I just bought a trigger finger and love it so far. it's working great with impulse, but it's acting odd when I try to use the pads to launch clips or toggle effects. Whenever they activate something i get a percussion sound along with it. different sounds for different pads. it's only if th...

i wanted to do something very similar to this but using Live as a guitar effect, but I was told it's not possible to get rid of the delay.

as for making the beats sound more like a real drummer, i would suggest looking at some drum sheet music. it looks almost like a step sequencer already anyways. There are some techniques real drummers use that you should keep in mind when programming midi drums, mainly volume control and odd note le...

delay in monitoring

hey all, ok, i occasionally like to have monitoring turned on when i'm recording an audio track into live, especially if i want to hear how the device chain affects how what i'm playing sounds. the thing is, there is about a half second delay that is really really annoying and sometimes confusing an...

it only makes you gay if you are interested in it because you are worried about your hard drive falling off the desk while you have tantric sex with another man while the camera is connected to it.

it sounds like a sample from the N64 game Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, or possibly a Mario game. I don't just mean the individual note, but the whole sequence. I think nihad is right, the arpeggio rate is tied to the pitch of the note somehow.

since when is christianity and american invention?
i took the thread title to refer to the fact that these were american christians who produced the segment for an american television audience (possibly on an american christian network).

wow, just wow. they can't even correctly define what they don't believe in. the theory of evolution does not state that life emerges from matter+energy. the theory of evolution is about change over time, natural selection and survival of the fittest. it's been 5 minutes since i saw the video, and i'...

there's a gate setting in beat repeat that sets how long the repetitions play for. what do you mean when you say you can't actually get a sequence to play? i know there's probably some simple thing i'm missing that would make me understand why you can't use it, but i'm just not seeing it.
