The only way to insert a pad inside a drum rack already full of pads without messing with the (receiving) notes ordering.

Or maybe there is a solution I'm not aware of !?

Re: MIDI Effect Plugin support for AU or VST

Really!?
Can we have a MIDI FX VST followed by a Instrument VST or stock plugin in the same channel.
I don't think so and it is such a pity!

I need 2 channels instead of one in order to have my VST MIDI FX and my instrument to play together!!!!

Re: Can someone recommend a comprehensive Ableton file system tutorial?

It took me some time to understand how files were managed in Ableton.
Now that I master how it does. I find it genious!

Advice 1 : Read the manual
Advice 2 : in the browser go to Current Project under Places, see how the project evolves as you work on it

Re: Freeze and flatten drum rack pads

I'm also interested to know how to efficiently bounce each pad of a drumrack!
I guess you need to add a track for each pad. At least you can resample them in one go!

Re: Push 2 - per step automation in drum racks

When you are in the drum sequencer (with the Drum Rack activated*) 1) click and hold on an active step/pad 2) put the display in Automation Mode** 3) turn the encoder of the corresponding parameter to change its value for the step * very important (the drum rack has to be selected on the top left co...

Re: Push 2: Is it possible to copy and paste notes?

I want!

Strangely, if you hold down a pad (drum rack sequencer) and click on Duplicate it says: 'Clip duplicated' but from that I don't manage to do anything!

Am I missing something?

Re: Push 2 - controlling VSTs

At least, I can select via Push 2 the presets of Replika & Driver from NI, the only 2 plugins I have. The trick is you can select the preset only after having loaded the plugin first. It's a 2-step process ... 1) LOAD THE PLUGIN : click Add Device - Go to Plug-ins - Load your plugin 2) CHOOSE YO...
