Good examples guys!
Since the gym is classical-dance-oriented they surely will not like Pantera full blast over their crappy piano songs....
Just imaging it make me smile, thank you.
I will let you know how the story continues....

Re: Offensive neighbours decibel level
@ fishmonkey: the word soundproof is wrong, you're right. They just need to put the volume down. Or even better, to use earpods and listening like a silent disco. @ Tarekith: I'm sorry to hear your negative experiences. If I want to stay positive I think that the measurement should be done testing t...

Re: Offensive neighbours decibel level
Hello Richie, thanks for the answer. Of course laws are different but I hoped to hear more responses about the topic, especially in this forum. I'm pretty sure that many people here have a studio, and they wanted it to be soudproof for 2 reasons: don't hear other noise and don't be heard. I think th...

Offensive neighbours decibel level
Searching around I discovered that 45 dB measurement in the daytime is sufficient to pursue a neighbour that is causing problem with annoying music loudness. Can someone confirm that news? And if you know from experience what is the limit and the legal soundproofing that a neighbour must have (for e...

Re: How do you deal with long presses / double presses of MIDI remote note messages ?
Sorry, I meant button presses, not mouse clicks.
Maybe there is something that I miss...
Could you explain what type of device is your input as button?
I see that you need an audio MAX effect with no automation recorded, is it correct?

Re: How do you deal with long presses / double presses of MIDI remote note messages ?
Would be good for you a velocity mapping concept instead of single/doubleclick?
I mean if you press softly (under 60 velocity) is A, if you press hard (over 60 velocity) is B.
Of course I don't know if you are talking about a controller with velocity... let me know.

Re: How to protect passwords?
@Tarekith: Nice and easy method. I don't have "all Apple" setup but I saw that pretty much every cloud storage has double password access that is very solid. Maybe I should go for it. If someone else is interested I found that 7-Zip has AES 256 encryption password method for files and fold...

Re: How to protect passwords?
Hello Angstrom, thank you for the answer.
May I ask you how this practically works?
If you need a password you have to download the file and de-crypt it each time?
I assume that it can be a file in a folder that you encrypt, is it correct?

How to protect passwords?
Hey, I'm wondering about what is the simplest and most efficient method to protect our passwords. How and where do you save you passwords safely? Do you have some suggestions for a standard bulletproof protection? Please speak only with direct experience and daily usage. The scenario is if I'm away ...

Re: Serious problem with saved state of parameters
Did you try with preset + pattrstorage? When I design my max for live devices I like to avoid the saved state option, and use the preset box method instead. I save my preset in the matrix box, and when I re-open a set I load the preset too with no problems. I did'nt try with convolution reverb or ot...

Re: Convolution Reverb Dry/Wet and EQ reset
@doubleUG: I can confirm your test, I made it on Live 10.1.14 on Win 10.
@chapelier fou: you can try NadIR, it's a free VST, you can load your convolution files in.

If your issue is within Live 9, not 10, I had it too, and solved it by opening Max first, then Ableton Live 9.

Re: Is Windows 10 32 bit usable for music production?
Update: the simple answer is no, Win10 32bit is not usable (as Angstrom said, I'm surprised on its existence too). I solved this problem installing Win 10 64 bit on a second empty SSD, alongside my original Win 7 32 bit on the first SSD (what I called the PLAN B). I can now use both systems like hav...

RME Multiface II cardbus into pci slot for 64 bit?
In the past years I solved perfectly wit a PCI to PCMCIA adapter, but today I discovered that this solution is a 32 bit compatibility only, so doesn't work in Win 10 64 bit.
Do you know any actual solution to read PCMCIA cardbus in A 64 bit OS?
