I'm just trying to overdub MIDI into a clip on the Session screen. I've got the track armed to record. I can record a new MIDI clip and the controller works just fine.
If I hit the play button on a MIDI clip, and the track is armed to record, in AUTO monitoring mode, that's all it should take, right?

I can't figure out how to get my automation to copy with my clip.
I have clips with plug-in automation. I copy the clips to another track (that has had the same plug-ins copied and pasted to it). I want to have the exact same automation, but even though all the related plug-ins are on the new track ...
