I would love to have the ability to put several loops together to define a "template" and give the template a key. Then have the ability to play the template like a loop and change key to produce a chord progression. So if my loop were in C, as it played I could have it modulate to a minor, G major ...

I have an Edirol FA66 that works fine on my macbook running Tiger, but when I connect it to my iMac it doesn't show up in my audio devices under system preferences. Can anyone please help me with this? Thanks....

You can read everything OK on that external drive, but if it's formatted as NTFS you won't be able to write to it.

create a new audio track
set "Audio from": MASTER, post fx (if you have fxs in the master)
arm recording, DISABLE monitor, and record your track in realtime, it sounds better.

I've been using one with Live 6 for about a month now... mostly recording guitars via an SM57 mic and so far I've been really happy. I will say that occassionally audio just stops and I have to reset but I don't know if this is Live, OS X, or the interface.

It appears that Live doesn't clean up a frozen wav file after the track has been unfrozen. I know we can clean them up by hand, but it seems like something Live should do.

I had a MIDI track (EZ Drummer VSTi) frozen and when I chose unfreeze it resulted in an audio track and I couldn't edit the MIDI data. Is this a bug, known issue, or did I possibly do something wrong? Thanks....
