I'm just afraid nobody will ever get back to me about it and i'll be without my DAW.

should i delete the Preferences or something?

At the splash screen, Ableton freezes during startup.
It was automatically updated (I guess last night).

It is when the splash screen says "Initializing applcation.. ."

A right-click on a Macro Knob could say: "Show Device Connected to this Knob"
This would eliminate the need to open every device in a rack and hunt for the parameter(s) connected to the Macro.

I wish I could make a video demonstrating what this Browser is now.

I wanted to copy a simpler to another drum pad in this DrumRack,
but when I hold the ALT key, a lock symbol appers on the Drum pad.

yeah, okay it's a nuisance.

Every time I touch something the Clips window scrolls everything above it out of view.

even when two clips are selected and you launch the Scene they're on,
they're de-selected, the window moves the Scene to the top and you
don't know what you were looking at anymore.

Touch a Session Clip and the window scrolls so that the touched Clip is on top.
This is really stupid and cumbersome, unnecessary and anti-useful.
(and a new addition to version 12). Is there a way to let it not do this?

I mistakenly assumed it wasn’t there and didn’t think to
look through the menus.

There was no need to take away the ability to put tempo changes in the Scene Launcher Clips.

Adding the parameter window with the Follow Actions to Scenes is great, and the BPM and Time Signature readout
on the Scene itself shouldn't have been removed. It could have stayed there.
At least some ...

Every time I press an icon in the Browser window,
to browse instruments, to browse samples...
This software sits there and Loads something. Sometimes for several many seconds.

I don't like waiting 10 or 20 or 30 seconds every time I press a button.

Why do many of the Ableton Live plugins now list duplicate presets?
Most of my plugins now have two of each preset since upgrading to version 12.
Does this have anything to do with the software taking so long to boot up?

The Key commands, for example the one that opens the Mixer pane:
ALT + SHIFT + M
It opens the mixer and that's great. And pressing it again should also close the mixer.
