not sure what is going on with this i have the normal version of ableton with the library installed tried repairing it etc.

I'm getting device not available errors on simple things in the live 8 library like kick drums.

I keep getting error messages when trying to use instruments.

Not sure why stuff i don't have is showing up in my library

i played some tracks into ableton from another sequencer . I think i had the setting right for the sync but maybe not the tracks are all off the grid a bit. I don't want to quantize and i am having a hard time moving them all at once.

is it possible to reset/set the grid origin i can't find it in ...

im not try to consolidate I'm try to break a long midi file into smaller clips. when i split and drag the sections into clips view they still contain all the notes from the entire original track. even then notes outside areas i split.

I am trying to break some longer midi files into clips that i imported from another program. to in arrangement view i am splitting them where i want them to start and stop. then sleeting them, tabbing and dropping into clip slots.

if i uninstall these "tension" etc under library preferences will i be loosing any functionality?

I keep trying to grab instruments from the browser and getting messages that they are unavailable unless i pay more money. i am getting annoyed at this is there anyway to show only what is available in the browser
