Resurrecting again...looking to do something similar...possibly the same thing, with a knob.

Essentially...it should be extending/stretching the vocal...e.g. "How are you" could become "how arrrrrrrrrre you" if the knob is turned, etc.

Here's a great BPM automation tool...it's only for Ableton 9 though, won't work with 8 :\

I'd like to get a USB turntable mainly for ripping vinyl to MP3, and when I'm not doing that I'd like it to function as a normal record player with my stereo. My budget is around $100 for this, could I get some recommendations?

I haven't gotten a Launchpad yet myself (I plan to in the next few months though)...but I'd consider the following:

Launchpad plugs right into your computer.

A tablet would require an internet connection, which may not always be available.
