ahah! that's the trick!
only the last instrument in a reason rack receives the stuff from the master keyboard.
so you basically create a dummy instrument (f.e. a maelstrom) and disconnect it from the mixer. it will receive notes, but not sound up.
purrfect! =)
thx for making that train of thought ...

controll reason knobs on instruments via rewire?
Hi there,
I'm playing around with rewire and it works pretty good to have Ableton as a Master and Reason as a Slave.
Now: is there a possibility to control the knobs via my Axiom 61 from within Ableton -> through Rewire -> to Reason?
What I'm searching for is pretty much the same like in Ableton ...

changing screen resolution is sub-par
the problem is, that the screen resolution of the tft is a fixed size.
if you lower the screen resolution, you will get unsharpness, stretching artefacts, etc.
usually, changing the dpi-size works well. I did it for all the fonts in windows and i can finally use the laptop for 8 hours without eye ...

starting clip chains in live?
hi there,
I was wondering if there is a way in live to start clip-chains.
what are clip chains you ask?
well, let's say I have 3 different clips in 3 different channels (or maybe... one channel). A midi clip, an audio clip and another midi/audio clip.
Or three midi clips or whatever. You get the ...

displaying note pitch bend in midi note view?
Hi there,
I'm fairly new to Live, but I figured out most of the important stuff so far.
Just one thing eludes my understanding - when I record some notes into a midi track and I use the pitch-bend wheel on my axiom 61, _where_ is the amount of pitch-bending displayed? all I can see/edit is velocity ...
